Hi I'm Addison Merrill

I grew up in the Bay Area, California. I'm a student. I"m a missionary. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the East Bay of San Francisco with my 5 siblings. I danced for 15 years and was trained in ballet. My first memories are ballet buns and leotards. In high school I switched from ballet full time to the high school dance team. For four years I danced on the sidelines of all the football and basketball games. Growing up in the Bay Area I was one of the only active members of this faith in my school. Because of this I was able to really grow and learn how to love others that may not believe the same things I believed.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? It brings me happiness. I know that without this church I wouldn't be the person that I am today. I find myself whenever I need help with something that I can always turn to my Heavenly Father. He knows what is best for me and knows me better then anyone on this planet. He has given us a gospel to live by because he knows how much it can bless us and make us happy. I know that without this gospel in my life I wouldn't know my purpose on the this earth. I wouldn't know that I am A daughter of a heavenly king. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and I know that he has a plan for me. He loves me and I love him. He loves all his children and I know that I am never in the dark, he will always be my light.

How I live my faith

I have attended church for as long I could remember. I try to live the way that I was taught to when I was a little kid; which is to choose the right and follow Jesus Christ. I was taught this in my home and at church. With living like this and growing up with these standards I have come to find out that when I align my life with our heavenly father I am a lot more happier and willing to do his will. I live simply by following the 10 commandments, going to church, saying my prayers and telling people who I am.
