Hi I'm Cameron

I grew up in Orem Utah. I love running and really anything outdoors. I am serving a mission in Paris France. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything that has to do with being outside. Hiking, sports, camping, and especially running. I ran cross country in high school and it was there I found my love for running and being outdoors. I used to lead a water aerobics class. My greatest accomplishment: I once ate 1/2 gallon of ice cream and ran three miles. I love to see hard work pay off in running and whatever else I'm involved in.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church and in Utah, I was surrounded by others who believed and practiced our religion but it wasn't until I was older that I wanted to find out for myself if it was all true. So I decided to ask God myself. I prayed more sincerely than I have ever before. After, I thought I would get an immediate answer like an angel appearing and confirming my prayer. It was through this experience I learned God answers prayers in ways we don't expect. For me and so many others, I felt peace and joy when I read the scriptures and asked if it is true. It's for that reason I am Mormon, because I know God answers prays through the scriptures and especially the Book of Mormon. I know that it is true with all my heart and what an incredible blessing it is to have it in our day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live as example. I surrounded by opportunities to share my faith and I believe the best way to do that is to simply live it. I've found it is through simply living the gospel that my eternal perspective grows and with that, my ability to overcome challenges.
