Hi I'm Levi Carpenter

I'm from Utah living under my stairs in a broken basement. I love the arts. I am serving a Mission in the Republic of Georgia!!!!!

About Me

I participate in all performing arts, and classical illustrations. I ski and love the outdoors. I don't have friends, but the ones I do have are the best people ever! I'm going to go to Georgia, speaking Georgian on my mission, then attend BYU Idaho, and hopefully transfer out when my generals are done. The world is big, exciting, and I want to see as much as I can of it.

Why I am a Mormon

Because its the best way to live. It's proven itself to make my life way better than It could ever be without it. I've tested it, and found it to me the most correct of all religion in the world. Its really simple. Its because it makes me happier than I could ever be anywhere else. It gives me hope even when there isn't any anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I do as much as I can in my community, and as an Eagle Scout to promote my faith. I always attend church and help the old folks home. I attended Institute and seminary classes, and I thoroughly enjoy my religious studies. I try to lead by example, so that even if others don't know or care who I'm affiliated with, they can still know what kind of person I am by how I act.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Levi Carpenter
To help in all ways we can as fellow people of the world. I know the Gospel has what people need. I want to help give hope to the hopeless, and serve the needy, and be as Christ was. I want to see joy in other's eyes as they find happiness, whatever form it may come in. We proselyte to share what we know has helped us, and hopefully it can help them too. Show more Show less

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Levi Carpenter
Because we are unorthodox. It's also really disrespectful to a Christian church to say that. We are allso called a sect a lot. Both are technically false, but true under certain definitions. We are the original church Christ established restored again. Not a branch off, not a split, not held under any law. It's the original, ties cut, fresh and unaffiliated, and vanilla. Just straight true and Literally the opposite of a cult or sect. Couldn't be farther from the truth, and that's why it's insulting and used so frequently, to tick people off. If by cult you mean not like everyone else than sure, and so is everyone besides the Orthodox church. It's in their name. Find out for yourself too, don't listen to me, ask God. Show more Show less
