Hi I'm Dylan

I grew up in Las Vegas. I'm going on a full time mission in Nicaragua. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated High School in 2016 and went straight to Provo to study Accounting at Utah Valley University. I love board sports, my favorite is snowboarding. I love all music, trying to get into the MoTab flow before I go on my mission. I'm going to be serving in northern Nicaragua starting in March.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born and raised in the church was an amazing blessing. However we are all on our own path to conversion and no one can develop a testimony for us. My faith in the gospel really began this year. I was at the age where I needed to decide if I was going to serve a mission. I had always had a desire to, but I had failed to put in the ground work in building my own testimony. How could I tell others to believe in our church if I didn't fully believe it myself? I began reading the Book of Mormon and it immediately changes my life. Each time I read I felt the spirit and I knew the words were true. Through prayer, I asked God if the book was true and I got the answer that it was. At the end of November I got my call to serve in the Nicaragua Managua North mission and I knew it was directly from God. I know this is the true church and that through this gospel we can find everlasting joy.

How I live my faith

My ward is the Foothills ward, and it is amazing. It is designated for young people under 30, so its a very unique experience. Everyone is close and really cares for each other. We all work together to organize fun events and learn about the gospel.
