Hi I'm Jen

I'm a Homemaker/Mother/Wife, I Love music, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely Love music! It has always played a big part in my life. I play the piano and enjoy singing as well. I feel closer to God and my Savior through wholesome music than any other way! I am the wife of an amazing man! He is unselfish, Spiritual, loves and encourages me, and a great cook to name a few. I am a Stay at Home Mother to three handsome boys and one beautiful daughter. They bring so much joy to my life that outweighs the challenges we face! Family is my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family with a Mother and Father who knew and lived the Gospel of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was given a strong foundation of knowledge and Testimony before I left home, because of strong parents and leaders who taught me that I am grateful for! Due to some hard life experiences that caused a lot of heartache and pain, I turned to a wrong source for comfort. Because of this decision I really questioned my Testimony and I stopped going to church for some time. I knew I had turned to the wrong source for comfort because I experienced a great amount of emotional and spiritual heartache because of this decision and my self confidence suffered greatly. Finally, I returned to church because deep down I knew it was true! It was so hard to return to church and still is hard for me, but I do it because I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! I am a Mormon because it is the only place you will find complete truth to life's greatest questions. The Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us where we came from before we were born, why we are here on Earth, and where we are going after this life. Through the Book of Mormon and Bible, prayer, and a living prophet and apostles we can find the answers to our greatest questions and the comfort we need through our trials. I am a Mormon because I have made covenants (a 2 way promise) with my Heavenly Father to love and serve him. In return, if I keep my covenants with him he promises I can return and live with him again. My husband and I chose to be Married in the temple, one of God's houses, and be sealed for time and all Eternity. This means if we obey God's commandments and serve him all our days on Earth our marriage can last forever and not end when we die. Our children can be ours Eternally as well. NOTHING, could bring me greater happiness than to be with my husband and children forever back in the presence of my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ, nothing!!

How I live my faith

I just recently was placed as Second counselor in Primary. Primary is the group for kids ranging from 3-11 that meet on Sunday's. I get to help conduct the meetings and prepare spiritual messages to share with the children during what is called sharing time. This calling is Very new for me and challenging because I am more comfortable being under the radar. I am willing to do this calling because my Heavenly Father wants me here for a reason and I don't want to let him down. Children are very special and need to be loved and taught the Gospel of Christ!
