Hi I'm Scott

I am the father of 10 and a grandfather of 19. I have worked the grocery industry for 42 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 41 years to my wife Paula. We have been blessed with 10 children in what we call our 'count down' family. We had 4 girls, then 3 boys, then 2 girls, then 1 boy. I started bagging groceries while I was in high school at our local grocery store. It must have gotten in my blood because I stayed with it for over 40 years, recently retiring. I have a love of music, particularly barbershop 4 part harmony. Over the years I have sung in many quartets and chorus. I have even competed on the international stage 5 times. But what I love best is my family and my grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in the church and I enjoyed my association with my neighbors and friends growing up. As a teenager I read for the first time The Book of Mormon and came to love this second testament of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I wanted to share this love with others and I was called to serve as a missionary in Finland. I have found in my life that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me great happiness and joy even in these troubled times.

How I live my faith

I have a love of my savior, Jesus Christ and I have tried to live the way he taught. I have served in my church since I have been a young man and I feel that my life has been blessed through serving others. The gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me great joy and happiness in my life.
