Hi I'm Scott

I'm a father of 5 wonderful kids. I live in Idaho. I served a mission in Latvia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life currently revolves around my kids and my family. I love spending time with my kids, playing outside, going for bike rides and experiencing things through the eyes of children again. They are my greatest joy and my greatest accomplishment in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of the Church and the values that they promote help give me direction and guidance in my life. It gives me the foundation that has helped to shape my life and has been instrumental in the teaching and raising my kids. As I have tried my best to keep the commandments and follow the teaching of the Savior I have felt the Holy Ghost touch my heart and confirm to me that the things I have learned and try to do are correct and help me draw closer to God.

How I live my faith

My faith has blessed my life in numerous ways. It has given me many opportunities to serve and associate with other people. The gospel of Jesus Christ is rooted in service and caring for other people. My service and experiences in the church have given me opportunities to meet other people and work with them to help others. I am currently serving as a bishop in a ward in Idaho. I love the opportunity to meet members of my ward and help them develop their faith and get to know their Savior Jesus Christ. My favorite part of being a bishop is associating with the young men and young women in my ward. I love going on activities and feeling their energy and excitement for life. They are wonderful kids with so much potential!
