Hi I'm Josh Jackson

I grew up in California and i like to trapshoot and swing dance. I'll be serving a mission and then going to BYUi.

About Me

My name is Josh Jackson. I like to watch movies and swing dance and trapshoot for fun. Other hobbies are hanging out with my friends. I am called to the Rosario, Argentina mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but I continue to live the gospel because I know that it is true. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book Of Mormon and spoke to Heavenly Father and his beloved son, Jesus Christ. I know that prayer and reading the scriptures and faith in Jesus Christ are essential steps back to Heavenly Father. If we know all these things by feeling the spirit, then why wouldn't we come unto Christ and stay with him? That is why i still live this gospel, to make it back to him and be happy for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do the simple things such as reading my scriptures and praying. I know that prayer is communication to Heavenly Father and if we read our scriptures he can answer our prayers because the scriptures and modern day revelation, prophets and apostles, are his way of speaking to us. I know that while we read the scriptures, we can receive strength and knowledge that Heavenly Father knows we are in need of after we ask him in prayer. He is willing to give us an endless amount of blessings as long as we ask him.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Josh Jackson
The atonement of Jesus Christ is Jesus coming to the earth and living a perfect life and bearing all of our sins and transgressions in the garden of Gethsemane and them later being crucified, then he came back after being resurrected and lived again so that we could conquer death and live again in the presence of him and Heavenly Father after we pass away.
