Hi I'm Jacob Daniel Lund

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV but moved to Fort Worth, TX. I have sung in the Zions Youth Symphony and Choir and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have played many sports including baseball, football, soccer, swimming and rugby, but my favorite is rugby. When I am not playing sports I am either working, making arrowheads or spending time with family and friends. I love to fish and sing, when I lived in Las Vegas I sang in the Zion youth Symphony and Choir under the direction of Jeffery. I will be serving in the México Torreón Mission starting in January 24th 2017 and cant wait to serve the wonderful people of México. .

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon and I am not embarrassed, afraid, or shy. I have lived my whole life in the church and have had many many many struggles that has wavered my faith but in the end strengthened it. Through our trials were are challenged to see how faithful we are to our Lord and Savior. Like the stripling warriors who were strong in their faith and obedience to their mothers who were harmed but not killed on the battle field. We are like them because while we are at earth we are at a spiritual battle with the adversary Satan who sole purpose is to destroy us he will shoot his arrows of temptations to try to spiritually kill us and it will strike and it will hurt. But through the power of the Atonement and by having faith and obedience to our Father in Heaven and our parents we can heal from the wounds and while the lord "give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." We can learn from our mistakes as long as we don't make them again and ask for repentance but we must ask forgiveness with a contrite spirit so that you know that you are forgiven from the lord and, just as important, you.

How I live my faith

Ever since the age of 12 to 15 I was in that ages presidency either as counselor or as the president. Now that I am preparing for a mission I have been going out with the missionaries to learn in the real world how to talk to investigators. In the summer of 2015 I was called to serve as a member of the youth committee over the stake to coordinate youth activities and released in the spring of 2016. I spoke in a lot of meeting for the youth and I love serving those around me. I am not very good at talking about my church every chance I get but if anyone asks questions or make fun I have a strong feeling to tell then so they can know and not spread false information. Even if I don't know it I would still call my local leaders or the missionaries to make sure.
