Hi I'm Amy

I speak two languages. I love to travel. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love being out doors and spending time with my family and friends. I've always loved stories from the time I was a little girl being told bedtime stories and listening to grandparents talk about how life was back in the day. I love to read about adventures and this has fueled my dream of traveling around the world to learn about people, about cultures and about a different way of life. I studied tourism and want to go into the aviation industry when I return from serving a full time mission for my church. I love to try things that let me express my self in a creative way such as dance and photography.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Family and this is the only Faith I've ever come across that guarantees that if we live faithful lives and do our best to keep the commandments and follow our Saviour Jesus Christ, we can obtain the blessings of the temple and be with our families for ever, even after death. I have had too many experiences in my life that testify of Gods love that there is no way I can deny his hand in my life.

How I live my faith

I live in a small beach town where the members meet in a small church building facing the sea. We are few in number but big in heart. We all have roles within our church that help us help each other, for example I help my mother to teach the young children about the love God has for them, and what they can do to get closer to Him. We do this through songs and uplifting fun activities. We also invite the community to join us for family history classes where we teach people to index and find deceased relatives. This has helped us share our faith within our small community because there are many people out here who are very active in their genealogy.
