Hi I'm Jason Alexander Golly

I'm autistic. I love to cook. I love to sing, and read books. And I love the Lord! I'm a Mormon: I know it, I live it, I love it!

About Me

I love to sing and read good books. I'm a good cook, and I'm going to culinary school after I get back from my church mission to learn more. I'm autistic, and sometimes it takes me a longer time to learn things, but with practice and prayer, I can learn it. I love being with family and doing fun things with them. I'm a little on the shy side, but I love to talk with others in my age group and make friends. I love to obey and learn more about the Lord. I am a visual thinker, so I learn through presentations and pictures with someone explaining it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ's church has been established on this earth. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love all of us. We are his children. He understands our trials and errors. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can be cleansed from our sins if we choose to repent. By reading the Book of Mormon, I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that he really did see God the Father and Jesus Christ, his beloved son. I know that if people read in the Book of Mormon, and if they pray to Heavenly Father sincerely to know if it is true, he will give them an answer that it is true. I testify of its truthfulness. I'm extremely grateful to be a member of this church, and I'm grateful for the love that our Father in Heaven has given me.

How I live my faith

I read the Book of Mormon every night, English and German, to improve my language skills for my church mission. I read a book called Preach my Gospel to further strengthen my testimony in the gospel. I pray every night with sincerity and thoughtfulness. I attend my church meetings each Sunday, and I strive to live a righteous, happy, successful life. I try to live my life the way Jesus Christ, our Savior, would: being kind to others, doing service, assisting those who need help, be a good neighbor, etc.

In whom should we have faith?

Jason Alexander Golly
We should have faith in God, our Heavenly Father, and our Savior Jesus Christ. They created us, and they know more about us than we may know about ourselves. They love us, and want to help us, but we must put forth effort on our part to obtain the blessings that they want to give us. We can receive these blessings by helping and serving others, reading the scriptures every night (The Book of Mormon, the Bible, etc), praying to Heavenly Father for guidance and strength and blessings to help you in your life, and living a righteous life.
