Hi I'm Brandon Ralph

I was born in the city but spend all my available time in the sticks, playing with cows and tractors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 6' 9" fun-lovin', red-blooded American... Even though I love everyone, they all think I should've played basketball in high school, but that's not for me. I spend my time doing manly sports on the farm, like off roading, hog tying, and cattle judging. I also enjoy welding, as well as working on trucks and engines with friends, my brothers, and my Dad. As an Eagle Scout, I enjoy camping, climbing, fishing, hiking, serving others, and the out-of-doors in general.

Why I am a Mormon

It all started when I was born. My parents were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I wanted to be an obedient son, so I just followed along and went to church with them. Then, an Italian missionary from our church challenged us to do a "21-Day Challenge" where we read various scriptures in The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ during the course of three weeks. I accepted the challenge. It included praying about the scriptures as we read them and asking Heavenly Father if they were true. I knew in my heart that what I was reading was true. I had a burning in my bosom and felt promptings from the Holy Ghost answer my prayers. I know the church is true and I love the scriptures. I now attend church, not to please my earthly parents, but to please my Heavenly Mother & Father. Because of the testimony I gained as I took on this challenge, I decided to give 2 years of my life serving the Lord as a full time missionary. I am excited to share the gospel with those who are willing to listen to me as I share my testimony, the scriptures, and the gospel with them.

How I live my faith

I have served as a member of a youth council where we planned many activities, including high adventure trips like a hike up King's Peak--Utah's highest mountain, and a rock climbing trip to City of Rocks in Idaho. I am trained through National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). I also spent a summer as a BSA staff member at Camp Aspen Ridge in Idaho. My duties there included running the shotgun and rifle shooting ranges and teaching gun safety.
