Hi I'm Conner Birt

I was born in Canada. I have lived here my whole life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've always had a passion for the sport of Ice Hockey, ever since I was little Hockey has been good to me. Growing up in Canada, it feels like that love for the game is a given. I even played competitively for about 8 years. -I have 4 siblings, I am right in the middle. -I am currently serving a full time mission. Portugal, Lisbon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my Love for Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know that once we truly challenge ourselves to know if the Church is true, and when we do all we can to receive that answer, then the Spirit will witness the truthfulness of that to you. I am grateful for that knowledge, and to know that Jesus Christ truly did die for our sins. Without His Atonement, I know that we would be absolutely lost. I testify that Jesus Christ does live and that He really does love you. I know that He will come again one day, and it is because of my testimony and unbreakable Love for my Saviour Jesus Christ that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Hockey wasn't the only thing I loved growing up. In fact there were two other things I put above all else. My love for my family, and my love for God. One may ask, how could you balance sports on a Sunday as a child? The honest answer to that is, you really must ask yourself where your priorities are. This is where my testimony really came from, praying to God, asking what was more important. My answer, came by praying and then feeling the Spirit. The Impression I got was that attending Church meetings and activities were much more valuable for me to progress, than doing anything else. It was through this answer, that I was able to not only feel closer to Heavenly Father, but also Jesus Christ as well. And because of all this, I know that when we choose to sacrifice things that are hard to give up, we can and will only feel closer to God.
