Hi I'm Eli Brant Hagemeyer

Im from Colorado, I love to be outdoors with my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a very small town in the southwest region of Colorado. I am an avid outdoorsman and love to hike, bike, fish, camp, ski, run, and play all sorts of sports. I grew up playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track and I have always been very active. I am enrolled in Brigham Young University-Provo and am looking to go into the Business management field or into Physical Therapy. I love to listen to music and watch movies with my family. Any time I spend with my family I hold near and dear to my heart because they are the best. I love to travel and have been to many Latin American countries and many other States.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and was baptized on May 8th, 2006 by my father. My parents were also raised in the church and it is because of my parents and their unwavering faith that I am still here. When times have been tough I relied on their strength and testimony to continue on when I was weak or had doubts. When I was making poor decisions they encouraged me to change and to seek help. I am a Mormon because my parents paved the way for me. Their light, spirit, and countenances just exemplify Christ's and I seek the same light. Once they got me on the right path I have never nor will ever want to leave. Though I may sometimes mess up and stray a little, I will not deny the testimony or faith that I have come to cherish and call my own. I am a Mormon because it's what I was raised in and now have come to believe and am invested in wholeheartedly. It makes sense and brings me peace and undeniable happiness. I have had many witnesses that this is the true church and the only on the face of the earth. I know without a shadow of doubt that I am in the right place and in the right church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day in my thoughts, actions, motives, and speech. I do not swear/cuss, I do not drink or do drugs, I do not participate in any unholy situations that would make my parents, grandparents or my Heavenly father unhappy. I strive daily to keep all the commandments and be the best person I can. In my shoe I always have some sort of token or coin to reming me who I am and to always be better. Sometimes I focus on specific things so that when I feel it I remind myself: Love and serve all people, exemplify charity, keep the commandments, do your best, befriend someone, or just God loves and is mindful of you. I love the church with all my heart and with that comes an undeniable love of my Heavenly parents and Jesus Christ. I never try to procrastinate repentance and I am always willing to change and be a better person. When I feel a prompting I am quick to take it to heart and make time in my schedule to fulfill all that I need to do. In my homeward I have held many leadership rolls or callings that have enabled me to become the person I am today. I try to find ways everyday to do all I can to live up to my potential and help others do the same. I have never been someone to shy away from a situation to help or give service. Because I have been given so much I see that I too must give. I am a Mormon: I know it, I love it, and I live it.
