Hi I'm Kiahna

I've lived by the East Coast, Midwest, and in the Pacific Ocean. I love art, music, sports, traveling and film. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have done a year of college so far and am the second oldest child in my family. I have many hobbies and interests. I love being active and playing almost any sport, although soccer is my favorite. I love art in its many forms and love to see how others express themselves as I like to as well. I don't know what I would do without music in the world. It can be so inspiring to listen to and one song can bring back so many memories from a certain moments in life. I play the piano, violin, and love to sing. The amount of feeling that can be put into performing a song makes it more than just notes on a page. I enjoy taking photographs as well as filming and editing videos. I sometimes joke about how I make those videos to make our lives seem more exciting than they are. In reality, there really is no way to quite capture those unforgettable moments and feelings that life can offer, but we can try and do our best to remember them through photos, film, and music.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS faith which gave me a good foundation of what values are important to my family. Even though I was raised going to church and living the LDS faith as my parents taught me, they could not give me my own testimony. I had to establish that testimony for myself. I first gained a testimony when I was young and family visited the birthplace of the Prophet Joseph Smith. I felt the Holy Spirit so strong there that I knew he was a true prophet. As my life has gone on and I have continued to go to church and live my life the best I could, I have had trials that have been difficult. Because of the help of our loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice, they have been able to help me through those tough times. I know that they love me and that through Jesus Christ anything is possible. He lives! I know no one is every truly alone. Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and is always there for me and you.

How I live my faith

I try and live my life the best I can and I live my faith in all that I do. I go to church on Sundays, participate in activities that there may be during the week, and try to be a good example to those around me. I try to keep my language clean, show love for those around me, and try and remain honest those around me and with what I do. I implement prayer in my life as I know that Heavenly Father is always there to hear my prayers and I know that he will answer them in His own way, as long as I have faith. I try and keep my body healthy by being active and not partaking in harmful substances that may negatively effect my body.
