Hi I'm Harley

I am from Utah. Preparing to serve a full-time mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am preparing to serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in the beautiful country of Argentina! I love the Spanish language, and all the rich culture that comes along with it. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love learning new skills, as of right now I am learning the guitar! I have worked as a full time assistant manager at Maurices for the past 3 years, and have absolutely loved it! I love this beautiful world that we live in, and hope to contribute to life on it as much as I can!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the true happiness that is has brought to me. I have had times in my life where I have fallen off the path, or perhaps "rebelled", and couldn't quite figure out what was missing in my life. Time and time again, I have fallen on my face and each time confused as to why I could not get up and stay up. My Savior has truly saved my life, and by putting Him first and following his example and his teachings, I have found genuine happiness in this changing world. I love this Gospel and all that it has done for me and my life. And I know that without a shadow of a doubt, that I can find happiness more genuine than anywhere else on this Earth, through this gospel.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite callings so far was YSA activity director, which was planning all of the activities and family home evenings activities every Monday night! It was a lot of work, but very fun because I was able to put a creative twist on things and help to include whoever wanted to be! My current assignment is a Primary teacher of the eight year olds. This is such a great calling. I love how curious, and humble little children are. I'm pretty sure they are really teaching me. ;)
