Hi I'm Jen

I live on a farm in VA. I love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking etc. I love Honda's, my Pitbull and of course my family!

About Me

I grew up very poor with an amazing mom and siblings on a farm in Virginia, where we raised a wide variety of livestock. I was home schooled, which I loved because it gave me the time to play with my animals and explore the woods, creeks and fields around our home. Growing up I had the opportunity to raise wild animals including a deer and a squirrel. I was in the local 4-H club from age 8-18. I love animals! I currently own horses, chickens, a sheep and a 75lb Pitbull who thinks he's a lap dog!! I am married to my best friend who I met when I was 8 years old. I have an amazing family, and great friends. I've always enjoyed working on cars (especially Honda's) I love to hunt, fish, camp and hike in the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom, siblings and I are the only members in my entire family. I grew up in the church. When I was 8 years old I decided to be baptized. When I was about 13 I decided I wanted to know for myself if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and The Book of Mormon were true...I prayed about it and I received a very clear answer that they were true. Living this gospel has brought so much joy to my life. I have seen the Lords hand in my life everyday. Growing up I had 2 completely opposite parents. My mom converted to the church when she was in her 20's and is very strong in the gospel. My father was abusive and is not a part of my life anymore. He is not a member and was always very negative towards our religion. By having 2 opposite parents I have seen and felt the difference between having the blessing of this gospel and the spirit with you and not having it at all. When I live the way the Lord wants me to, I have great joy in my life. I've had/have very rough times like anyone else but the blessings from my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in this gospel have always given me the strength to carry on. I love knowing that no matter what, if I am living righteously, I am never alone or forgotten. I know that prayers are answered when, and how they should be. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love each and every one of us. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday where I am a teacher for the young children in our church. I am also the Cub Scout leader for the boys in our area. I love to do service for others. I try to be a good example to everyone around me. I read my scriptures and pray daily, alone and with my husband.
