Hi I'm Christian

I am a Mormon and have lived in Layton Utah all my life. I am an eagle scout and love to help/serve others.

About Me

I love being active and always like to do new and fun things. I love serving people and helping those in need. I love the Church with all my heart and have a testimony of Heavenly Fathers love for us. I am quiet but fun to be around once I warm up to my surroundings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is no other way I could describe a Plan of Happiness how the Gospel and teachings of Christ describe the Plan of Happiness. The Gospel makes sense to me and even when I am at a pit of despair in life. The Gospel is the one thing I can turn to, too feel the Love of the Savior and know of His goodness.

How I live my faith

For one, I am leaving for a full time mission in October. I attend all of my church meetings and live by faith and hope in my savior Jesus Christ. I also try my best to be a disciple of Him and teach others His teachings.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

We can increase our faith in Jesus Christ by following his teachings and keeping his commandments. We all have the need to study and seek for our Savior, we do this by being like Christ as much as we possibly can. We are not perfect, so we must always try. We read the Scriptures and Pray to receive answers to questions that we may have. This must become a habit. A flower does not grow if not properly nourished. We must feast upon the words of Christ, in other words the scriptures, and follow his commandments and teachings to keep our self close to Him, and properly nourished. Show more Show less

What is the difference between attending a church and attending a temple?

Attending Church is for everyone. Church is a place where we are taught the teachings of Christ and we are able to renew our Covenants with Him through the Sacrament. The Temple is a house of God where his Spirit may dwell. Members who obtain a temple recommend and are worthy to enter the house of God are able to go to the temple and receive their endowment, or receive guidance and ordinances which the must do. They also covenant with our Heavenly Father. The temple is a scared place where we are able to be closer to God than anywhere else on Earth. Show more Show less
