Hi I'm Benjamin Walter

I joined the LDS Church when I was 18 and living in Arkansas, USA. Music is what led me to the Church.

About Me

I am a music loving college student studying business. I enjoy singing in choirs, being outdoors, being active, and cooking delicious food. I joined the LDS Church in 2016 while ending my senior year in high school, becoming the only member of the LDS Church in my family. After being immersed in the culture and community of this Church, I have no regrets and absolutely love the opportunities and people housed in this wonderful Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I believed that this was the best choice for myself and for my family, both now and in the future. I recognized that this Church, through its centerings on Jesus Christ, harbor a sense of consecration and edification that I have not found anywhere else. As a result of my conversion, I have had the opportunity to see that Lord's hand in my life, and His love for me.

How I live my faith

I work with a few other members of our ward on a Temple Committee. The Temple is also known as the House of the Lord, where virtuous members of the LDS Church perform sacred ordinances such as sealings for eternal families and other ordinances for themselves and for those whom have passed away without the opportunity to do so. As a committee, we work with members of the ward to guide their efforts to be best prepared to enter the Lord's House. This entails helping them live edified and righteous lives and teaching them of the Plan of Salvation and how they can best serve in this capacity.
