Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Idaho, went to BYU-Idaho for two years, and I am preparing to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a person of many hobbies, but the one that takes the cake is performing. I did two years of Vocal Performance study at Brigham Young University-Idaho and I hope to do more in the future! Along with performing, I love all things nerdy. I love to read, watch TV shows and movies and I am also an aspiring writer. I'm not married yet, but I certainly hope that happens in the near future. However, I'm preparing to be a missionary and I can't wait to serve the Lord!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the church all of my life, but I've also been converted to it. I've had many hardships in life, a lot of them including mental and emotional health problems (depression, anxiety, etc). I have two brothers, both of which are Autistic and as much as I love them, living with them has been no easy picnic! However, it was through those hardships that I became close to my Heavenly Father. A lot of times when I was younger I felt so alone. I knew that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loved me, but I just didn't feel it. When I first got to college is when my testimony really began to grow, as well as my personal relationship with the Savior. It was soon after I realized that I am never alone, and that has always been my biggest comfort. There is so much good news that the Gospel brings in this often scary and dreary world. It is wonderful to me that when hard times come I can rely on the things that I know are true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith the best I can by simply being like Christ. Christ is our ultimate example in almost everything, and I look to him to be the best person I can be. I try to love all people, and I try to be charitable towards all people. I know I am not at all perfect at it, but what matters is that I try to be like Jesus.
