Hi I'm Bailey

I'm a Canadian and I just graduated high school this summer. I am preparing to serve a mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am leaving on a mission in November and hope to attend University the fall after I get back. I love basketball and playing guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and have always enjoyed the feelings I have felt there. I came to know that this church is true when I was about 16 and found myself in a difficult situation. Through help from my bishop and my savior I was able to learn that my father in heaven knows and loves me. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ understands exactly where I am and is waiting with outstretched arms to help me come closer to him. I am a member of this church because it brings hope. I know in this life there is an overwhelming hopelessness without the sacrifices of our Savior and feelings of guild and despair can make us feel there is no way out or that we have no purpose, but that is simply untrue. All of us have a purpose and a plan just for us and our Savior will help us to become who we are meant to be and reach our divine potential and he will be there for us when we are alone and list us up when there's no way out and I don't know how I could deal with that without this gospel. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve in my ward as a primary teacher. I get to teach the 8-9 year old that attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love those kids and am so grateful for the opportunity to share what i know with them and help them build their own faith. I am also a visiting teacher and I'm able to visit sisters in our ward monthly to talk about gospel subjects and help them to feel of our Heavenly Fathers love.
