Hi I'm Aaron Ferguson

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy playing basketball and many other sports. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am from Oregon and lived there for the majority of my life. I have 2 older brothers and 2 older sisters which makes me the youngest in the family. When I was 14, we moved from Oregon to Washington because my dad got a new job. I went to all 4 years of high school at Lake Washington high school in Kirkland, WA. In high school, I played basketball and my favorite subject in school was mathematics. I also enjoy playing video games. After high school, I applied to go to BYU and got into the school. Currently, I am at BYU in Provo and working towards getting my degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes my life feel complete and helps me along my way. As a member of the church, I know I am able to receive guidance and help towards those things which are good. I know the gospel to be true because it leads me to do good and help others. I believe that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins as well as every human being on the planet. I believe that Joseph Smith restored the gospel and was a true prophet that spoke the truth and restored a wonderful book in the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon to be true. This knowledge and belief gives me a sense of calm and understanding that helps guide me back to God.

How I live my faith

In my previous ward, I was an assistant to the leader of our church. I helped organize and bring the sacrament to the elderly that were unable to go to church and partake of the sacrament. I also led meetings, helped teach lessons that helped strengthen others' faith, and organized fun activities for teenagers to do. It was a lot of fun and very enjoyable to serve and help others in living the gospel of Jesus Christ.
