Hi I'm Emily

I'm from South Jordan, Utah. I am serving as a full-time missionary in the Thailand Bangkok Mission and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Thailand Bangkok Mission speaking the Thai language. I am the oldest child in my family with one little brother and four little sisters. I grew up Mormon but have had to gain my own personal testimony. After I graduated High school, I went to Brigham Young University for a semester and a half then decided to go on a mission. I love this gospel with all of my heart and cannot wait to share this Good News with the Thai people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in this gospel, but I have chosen to stay a part of it. It has blessed my life so much that I can't even explain half of it. It makes me happy. I continue to feel my Savior's love daily and I know that he is watching out for me. This church is amazing and has helped me in every aspect of life. I love knowing that I can repent for my sins and renew my convents every single week. I love feeling the Holy Ghost with me at all times. I know that my Savior loves me and wants me to be happy and successful while on this Earth. And that's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Back at home, I was in charge of the young women, then when I turned 18, I was able to teach the 7 and 8 year olds. It was a blast. I loved every minute of it. Then I moved to college at Brigham Young University Provo and was part of the service committee. I love being able to serve those around me. I am now set apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am giving up 18 months of my life to serve the Lord. I will not be in school or dating or be able to talk to my family (besides one email per week). I am so excited to do this and be able to share my love for this gospel with others.
