Hi I'm Brady

I was born in Louisville Kentucky and moved to Utah a year later. I have grown up in Utah ever since. I love music. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Brady Flores. Music is my life. I have such a strong passion for music. I love listening to it, playing it, recording it, editing it, collecting it, everything. I hope to one day own an independent record label, so that I can find small bands that have lots of talent and help them the attention that they deserve. I love indie music especially. To me the stranger and more abnormal, the better. I love bands that take old sounds and make them new and add their own special twist to it. I love making music, but my greater passion is finding others that make amazing music. I also would like to open up a music venue or two. A place where people can get together, and listen to their favorite bands. Along with these dreams I would also love to own a record store. A place where music lovers of every kind come together to shop and discuss their favorite music with the local DJ's or musicians. All-in-all I love seeing music unite people of all kinds.

Why I am a Mormon

I was originally born into the LDS Faith. Growing up I went to church and learned about the gospel and about Jesus Christ. As I grew up and got into my teenage years. It was during that time that I really started questioning things about the church. I enrolled in a LDS religious class in high school called Seminary. It was in there that I found answers to all of my questions that I had about the church. That was when I was truly converted to the gospel. Since then I have continued to grow strong in the gospel and am now serving a LDS Mission in the Philippines. I know that this church is true and I know that God The Eternal Father and His Son Jesus Christ love us very much and they want us to be happy and to achieve eternal glory in their kingdom.

How I live my faith

I love going to my church. I love getting to talk to others about the gospel during our classes. I served two years in two different Youth Councils in my church. I love serving others and helping others feel the spirit. I am currently serving a mission in Philippines Naga from Sep. 2016 to Sep. 2018

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Brady
A lot of people see Mormons and think "Man, those guys are really weird." A lot of people think that we don't live like other people and in some ways they are right, but in most ways it is quite the contrary. Mormons don't drink alcohol and coffee, use tabacco, use drugs, swear and curse, have premarital sexual relations, watch pornography, get piercings and tattoos, and wear immodest clothing. Of course some of us struggle in striving to not do these things, but everyone has struggles, it's just a natural part of life. And yes Mormons can drink soda, contrary to popular belief. Other than those things we are just like everyone else. We have jobs and careers. We love to dance and have fun. We love music and love going to concerts. We ride motorcycles. We skateboard. We sing. We write poetry and make art. We laugh at times and we cry at times. We do the things that we love and that make us happy. We are human beings just like everyone else. Me personally I love collecting records, going to shows, and listening to Indie music. Every member of the church is different, that is what makes the church so wonderful. Having all of these different people with different personalities helps make the church strong and helps others be strong as well. Show more Show less
