Hi I'm Aaron Wilson

I was born and raised in Southern California. I love music, science and spending time with my family.

About Me

Although I'm mostly caucasian, my grandfather is actually from Ahmedabad, India. As far as people go, I'm pretty average. I have a few unique qualities though, my uncommon interest in math and chemistry (I like most sciences, but chemistry is my favorite) and my interest in linguistics and languages (though I hate writing in English).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Both sides of my family have deep connections to the church. My dad's family have been members since the early days of the church, and my mom's ancestors joined the church in England, also at an early period in the church's history. That being said, my membership in the LDS Church is very personal as well. I have a strong testimony that this church is the true church of Christ. I have often felt the power of God when reading the Book of Mormon, and know that it is the word of God. I have felt God's love for me and know that he has supported and strengthened me in my times of trial more times than I can say here.

How I live my faith

As far as Mormons go, I'm fairly average there as well. I haven't been assigned huge responsibilities like planning large youth activities, but I've had plenty of opportunities to participate in them and help in other ways. My main focus for the past few months has been making sure that I'm prepared to serve a mission. I have had several opportunities to join the missionaries in my ward and help them in their efforts, I have also been able to do my part by doing my home teaching. I recently received my mission call, and am more excited than ever to go serve.
