Hi I'm Lizzy

I'm a California girl, mountain climber, artist, BYU student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children and grew up in the jagged Sierra-Nevada mountains of Northern California. I've grown up climbing mountains and exploring the beautiful world God has given us! I love to explore and challenge myself, some of my hobbies include trailrunning, backpacking, rock climbing, ice climbing, and yoga. I also love art and am pursuing a career where I can share my ideas with the world and create characters and stories that will reach people's hearts and speak to and inspire them. I am a firm believer in following your dreams and reaching your greatest potentials, and I want to inspire people to go for it. I hope to do this by getting into the BYU Animation program and learning to use my art to inspire others. I love my family and friends and my relationships with them are the most important thing to me. The greatest adventures are with the people you care about most.

Why I am a Mormon

This church and the message it has to share with the world is truly incredible. I am a Mormon because I know that each and every single person on this planet is amazing, with unique, divine gifts and potential for greatness. Knowing who I am, where I came from, and why I am here on Earth has given me so much peace and solace in my life and has kept me grounded when times are hard. I know that this is powerful knowledge that everyone deserves to hear and know and that it provides a foundation and light when life becomes difficult or dark. I want everyone to have the opportunity to hear this message and feel God's love for them for themselves, as well as to be able to see their full potential as beloved children of God. It serves as a comfort to me to know that because of Jesus Christ and His atonement that anything is possible, that no matter what we can always try again, that success and greatness is endowed in each of us and through Christ the impossible is made possible, that there is no such thing as "the end".

How I live my faith

I have been very involved in organizing activities for church, both in my youth and now as a young adult. I love helping plan activities that help people build relationships with each other as well as God while having lots of fun! Wherever I am I try to be a positive influence and spread the light and love of Christ.
