Hi I'm Sara Miller

I have lived in Las Vegas my whole life. I' expectations played cello since I was eight. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 3 siblings and we all are musically blessed! I have a sister who's voice is to die for! Another that plays the violin and a brother who plays bass and whatever else he picks up, and I play cello. My mom plays piano and both her and my dad and just about all of us sing. We love music! I have a strang obsession with Captian America and its not because he's cute! (But that does help) It's simply because his moral standards line up with mine. I graduated from a high school that was an academy for the arts. I'm super anxious right now because I'm currently preparing to leave on a mission to Curtitiba, Brazil!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings me peace. Those day that honestly are miserable I only get through because I know my Heavenly Father is right there next to me. He's helping and guiding me. I'm a Mormon because I love the good works that we do. By being a Mormon your morals standard are high. You don't have to worry about changing your life for anyone because you know who you are. Being a Mormon doesn't make life easy. "Life isn't easy, but with God it's possible, and it's not just possible, it's fulfilling." I'm a Mormon because it give purpose to my life.

How I live my faith

Often I am able to share my faith through my music. My mom is amazing at rewriting music so I can play solos in church. I love sharing my gift with others especially because it makes me feel so close to God. I am planing on volunteering at the LDS temple as soon as I can. It truly is a place of peace and I enjoying helping God and His church in anyway I can.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Sara Miller
Not all Mormons are required to serve a mission, but all are welcomed at some point in their life! Our Heavenly Father, through His Prophets, has asked that all worthy and able young men serve a mission. Young Men typically leave for their mission at age 18 and young women at age 19. Also retired couples, me and women, serve mission. When serving a mission we represent Jesus Christ and His church. Show more Show less
