Hi I'm Ashley Franklin

I'm a Navajo girl living in both worlds. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hobby/Interest: Origami, Reading, Manga, Anime, Kpop, Marvel, DC College: Yes, but still have 1 year left. Being Native American is great, but at times it is challenging. But the love of Christ makes everything clear.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's my choice between everlasting death or eternal life. It took me a while to fully understand myself and what I wanted in my life, now that I have fully submerged myself and tried to make sense of this church, I have found peace, I've found strength I've never felt before. Feeling the love of God in my life has given me so much. Reading the scriptures has shown me truths that I simply can't deny, nor do I ever want to . Sometimes I get weak and falter, but that's what makes me love this gospel, He is forgiving and all loving of me. I'm truly grateful and blessed to have parents who share this love I have for our Redeemer. I continue to pray for other members of my family to see what I see, to feel what I feel. I have the duty to help and guide them. I love this gospel and hope soon, others will too.

How I live my faith

I've been given calling in my little branch of teaching young kids and teenagers about the Jesus has for us and how it can complete our lives. Being in such a calling gives me the chance to help my communities youth to choose a better path/life than our elders and previous generations. I encourage they think for themselves and to seek help from the Lord in their everyday struggles.
