Hi I'm Marika

I'm a mormon. I'm Greek. I've grown up knowing that you can be new again through the Atonement of Christ. I love family and food.

About Me

I just graduated High School. I love to read. I love to Ballroom Dance. I love Karate. I love running. I love Drawing and painting. I love food. I love family. I love movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the scriptures, the Book of Mormon has blessed my life. I have prayed and know that it is the word of God. I have studied and studied and found that God loves me. That Christ loves me. That they love everyone equally. In this world, you cannot find the solace that you can find in this gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a mormon, because the LDS church makes it possible to find who you are, and develop a relationship with God and his son. I am a mormon because Jesus Christ atoned for me, and this is his church. I am a mormon so that I can live with my family, and God, forever.

How I live my faith

I was recently called as the CTR 6 Primary teacher. My 6 year olds keep me on my toes. I love them. I love the Young Women's Program, and the Personal Progress Program. I have earned my Personal Progress medallion, which is the female equivalent to an eagle scout award, if you're at all familiar with those. I will soon serve a full time LDS Mission. So excited! I can't wait to testify of Jesus Christ my every waking hour.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

We believe in full immersion. Christ himself was baptized this way. We believe that you must be baptized to enter God's presence. We believe you must be baptized by the proper authority given to a man by God. We believe Children younger than 8 years old are not yet accountable for their sins, and therefore cannot be baptized until their 8th birthday. Show more Show less
