Hi I'm Megan

I love to read and spend time with my friends and family. I love to travel and meet new people. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the United States in a very close family. I have 2 older brothers and a younger brother who greatly influenced my life. My mom and dad are very supportive and always help me with whatever I am going through. I enjoy playing sports, particularly volleyball. I also love to play the piano and ukulele, and I've always loved reading. In school I've begun studying Athletic Training with the hopes of continuing on to Physical Therapy school. I love my friends. They've been a great joy in my life and I've learned a lot from them. I love to travel and hope to visit several countries and experience different cultures while I'm alive. I love my life and I'm so grateful for every opportunity I've been given. Currently I am preparing to serve an LDS Mission in Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia. I'm excited to serve my fellow brothers and sisters, and share my knowledge of Jesus Christ with them.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are members of the church so I was brought up being taught about Jesus Christ and his teachings. But I've had many experiences throughout my life that have confirmed what I grew up being told. One of my favorite things about this church is the knowledge that Jesus Christ died for us because He loves every individual so much. So much that we, as humans, can't fully understand how much! I also love the everyday peace that comes from knowing there is an all-powerful God who wants to help us and wants us to succeed. Everything about this church motivates me to try and be my best self and gives me comfort and strength in hard times.

How I live my faith

As a member of this church, I attend Sunday meetings every week and also participate in additional meetings that may occur throughout the week. I visit the temple weekly, where I participate in special work important to the happiness of all who have or will live. I've always tried to be kind to every person I meet, no matter what their circumstance, upbringing, or beliefs. I want to help others life a happy life and try to serve others in my community. I've been to Mexico to help at an orphanage and am going on a full-time mission to teach others about my faith. I want others to look at me and see how God has his influence in everything we do while on this earth.
