Hi I'm Leslie

I love to sing, read, and spend time with my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a physics major at Brigham Young University right now. I love to read (mostly Harry Potter, but I'm a big fan of the classics, too). Also, I would be in Gryffindor if I went to Hogwarts (but BYU is still better). I have played music from a young age, but mostly just casually and because I love it so much, not because I have any ambitions of becoming a musician. I love my parents and I feel no shame in admitting that they're my best friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a very strong Mormon family. I've grown up my whole life hearing about the stories of courage in the scriptures, but still I learn something every time I go to church. This is a church of continual learning and progression. Because I have been able to learn so much, so frequently, I couldn't imagine a life without gaining knowledge continually. This world is a world of darkness, and I want to stay in the light.

How I live my faith

I am a newly called family home evening coordinator, so basically I plan activities for a small group of other young adults to get to know each other on Monday nights. I serve in other ways by doing ward choir or whatever else I'm asked to do!
