Hi I'm Jamison

I grew up in Colorado and Ohio. I'm enjoy working with computers and serving in the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four siblings. Currently I am working on getting an education at college. I enjoy solving problems at my university and community with computers. I also enjoy being outside in the mountains, riding bikes, and swimming. I love being around people and working with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have received a witness of the truth in the gospel. When I was growing up in the church I started out not having a sure witness of the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, nor the Plan of Salvation. One summer I went to a youth camp called Especially for Youth. Especially for Youth is a week-long camp that's purpose is to strengthen the testimony of the gospel in youth. While I was at that camp I received a strong prompting that the Book of Mormon was true in it's entirety. In the following weeks I worked to receive a witness that other gospel principles were true. I am a Mormon because I know that it has the complete and true gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Since I am at college, my mostly consists of young adults like me. I am a sacrament coordinator for my ward which means that it is my responsibility to make sure the sacrament is planned in advance and is as reverent as possible. This responsibility is very important to me because the sacrament is important to me and if it wasn't reverent I wouldn't be able to get nearly as much out of it as I would be able to if the sacrament was administered with reverence.
