Hi I'm Ben Alyk

I'm a writer, filmmaker, and musician. Telling stories is my passion, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love telling stories, so I have taken it upon myself to make a living doing so. I write novels and I am a filmmaker, currently involved in making short films. I also love story-oriented video games, my favorites coming from PlayStation 2 3D Platformers and RPGs. I intend on going to college after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I live it, I love it, and I wouldn't be anything else. This is because the lifestyle is one of the most fulfilling I've heard of. We, as members of His church, are told to always be kind of people no matter who they are, and embarking in our Heavenly Father's work is always rewarding, especially when we aren't expecting a reward. I love that the church reaches out to all nations and all people, participates in humanitarian efforts around the world, and aims to bring all of God's children, His sheep, back into the fold, so that all may return and receive eternal life. That is why I love my church. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively participating in Mutual activities, even though I'm technically an Elder (just barely), and I currently hold a calling in my ward as a Gospel Principles teacher. I'm also involved in home teaching with three families, and I am preparing to serve a mission.
