Hi I'm Noah Newman

I have lived in Idaho all my life. I love to serve people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love working with and serving people. All of my jobs have involved either some sort of service to a customer or interaction with a patient. I love being outside doing physical work or playing with friends and family. I am about to serve a mission in Peru speaking the Spanish language.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because when in times of my life I have felt lost, alone, forgotten, and scared, I have always felt God's love for me. The principals of the gospel we learn in the Book of Mormon have brought greater peace and joy that nothing else does. I know that when I read the Book of Mormon I feel this light in my life, this overwhelming feeling of happiness. I have had many instances where I look back at my childhood and think "How did I survive?" It is through the principals of the Book of Mormon that are taught clearly, which brings a better sense of hope into my life. I have family who believe that I didn't have a choice in deciding whether I wanted to become a member of the church or not. There was a point in my life when I hit high school that made me really think about what I actually wanted in life. I spoke with many church leaders, family, and friends about their lives and what made them happy in the end. One of my parents has bad gambling, drinking, and abusive behaviors. The other parent has loving, hopeful, and patient behaviors that are much more inviting. I knew that if I didn't decide now I would end up having behaviors, attributes, and attitudes that I did not want when I become an adult, a husband, or a father. So I decided what made me happy. The principals taught clearly in the Book of Mormon have brought much peace and comfort into my life. I know that when all is said and done, if I try my best to do what is right and follow the true principals taught in the Book of Mormon, I will be rewarded with more happiness than I thought I could ever feel. I know this to be true. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I strive to live it everyday. I am imperfect, but God knows this and made a way for ALL of us to become renewed through the Atonement of Christ. His sacrifice has made it possible for each and every single one of us to be better. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only way to feel true joy and peace in this life.

How I live my faith

I have been in several positions; Young Men's organization(1st assistant, 2nd assistant, and secretary), seminary counsel at school, 8-9 year old Sunday school teacher. I love being apart of such a wonderful organization that provides learning for the youth and myself. With hometeaching assignments, visiting with members of the church, I have always had widows that I was assigned to. I love that because I always learn something from them and I've never felt less then them on a scale of who knows more knowledge.
