Hi I'm Nolan Rice

My name is Nolan. I am a goofball. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a pretty cool dude. I like to make people laugh. I like to put ranch on my food. I cannot play sports very well, but I try my hardest. I think jokes are great, so I try to tell some.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and fell in love with the people and gospel. My best friends came from church because they understand what it means to love and support others and we have a lot in common. Without being asked members will drop everything to pick us up when we fall. Every day members share their love for Christ by emulating his kindness which testifies to me that this is His church. The gospel also teaches us that our pains will be taken away so that we may live with our families and a loving Heavenly Father forever. It gives me comfort on the hardest of days. I love my family so much I cannot ever imagine a heaven that would not allow me to be with them.

How I live my faith

I am serving a full time mission in Ukraine. I decided to serve a mission because my God has blessed my life with so much joy I repay Him with the best I have. I also saw the wonderful example of my two older brother's service and how it made them into strong men with an amazing love for God.

What is being a Mormon like?

Church meetings are often a place of reverence, but we also share many laughs as well as deep discussions about faith. Our congregations become a large family full of happiness. Mormons are never alone, we always have the support and love as we help each other achieve our goal of coming unto Christ. Anything that seems daunting about our church becomes a non-issue when we realize faithful members will always have our back. Show more Show less
