Hi I'm Likio Vea

I grew up in Hauula, Hawaii. I am the 8th out of 8 to serve a mission in my family (all foreign). I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from high school and completed a year of schooling at the collegiate level. I am now preparing to serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Dat Sanits. A little speck of rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean will always be my home. Surfing brings a feeling of peace and serenity that is second only to The Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am truly greatful for the blessing of having The Gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in my life. It has answered the " what is my purpose here on earth?" Question for me. Thanks to that I have eternal reasons why I must or must not do certain things. I chose to continue in this faith because it is a place where I am surrounded by many different people from different backgrounds with all kinds of experiences that completely fascinates me. But the main reason I cling so closely to this faith is because I believe that Jesus Christ Lives and that he died for me as well as all of us. So the least I can do is to live a life that Jesus would want me to live. I'd like to bear my testimony that I know that Jesus Christ lives and he cherishes each and everyone of us so much that we can't even comprehend it. I know that he sends us prophets to guide us here on earth and I sustain Thomas S. Monsoon as the living prophet as well as all the other general authorities in their respective offices. I know the The Book of Mormon to be the true world of God written for us in our time. I know that through this Gospel we can come to know true joy. I love each and everyone of you and I say these things in his hallowed name even Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

I freely offer my service to anyone who stands in need of it. I am a firm believer that small things lead to larger things, so I make it a point to do the little things for others. Simple things like holding a door open, being a friend, or even just saying hello. I may not say anything while giving service but, you know what they say "actions are louder than words".
