Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Bountiful Utah. I'm a Birthmom, cook, and a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up an active member of the LDS church. I dropped out of High School in 2012, left the church and graduated with my GED that same year. I then went to culinary school and graduated from the program in two years. During these few years, I started smoking (most cooks/chefs do. It's the only way to catch a break). I became a nanny in a small town and became bored. Long story short, I became pregnant at 18, quit smoking, and moved back in with my mom. It was then, that I decided to place my baby for adoption. Now, almost 3 years later, I'm in an amazing open adoption, a successful cook, and have found myself back in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

Through His Attonement I have found peace with my past. To walk through hell with a smile and have all those burdens on your shoulders is a hard task. With the gospel I was able to give those burdens to Jesus Christ, who is all to happy to take them from you if you ask. I believe this church changed my life. I feel the light of Christ in my actions and in my thoughts. We all make mistakes. That's the point. But we don't have to beat ourselves up every day. God is there to help, and He sent his son to Attone for our sins so that we could be with him again. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly but I really live my faith by sharing my story and teaching by example.
