Hi I'm Cortnie

I grew up in Utah. I have been called to serve in the Ecuador Guayaquil North Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I graduated from Snow College with my associates degree and can't wait to continue my education. I love reading, riding razor scooters, going on vacation (especially to beaches), and spending time with my friends and family. I love pineapple, flamingos, and aquariums. I am lucky enough to be able to serve a mission in Guayaquil Ecuador and I am stoked!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon cause this gospel rocks and it is basically the greatest thing in the world. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings so much joy and peace in my life. I am a Mormon because I know that no matter what we do or what mistakes we make, our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ will be waiting for us with open arms. The atonement is REAL and IT WORKS. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon and for the truths it gives to us and for Joseph Smith who restored this gospel. I am grateful for the Holy Ghost and the witness it brings of the truthfulness of the gospel. I know that we have living prophets on the earth today who lead and guide us in this crazy world and I am grateful for the safety and security the gospel provides. I especially love that through the power of the priesthood and temples, we can be sealed to our families for time and all eternity. The gospel is beautiful and I am so grateful to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I had the opportunity to serve as a member of the relief society presidency in my singles ward while attending college. This means I had the opportunity to work closely with the sisters of my ward and serve and teach them. I also had the opportunity to work with the children in the primary in my ward at home. I love working with children and it was amazing to experience their sweet spirits and their simple testimonies of the gospel strengthened my own. I live my faith by doing my best to follow the example of my Savior Jesus Christ and by sharing the gospel with the people of Ecuador.
