Hi I'm Dawna Herr

I'm a photographer, I love my family! I love to sing! I am a college student and I'm a mormon.

About Me

Here's just a little bit about me! I was born in Utah but I grew up in Tucson, Arizona. I am the youngest of 4 and hit the jackpot of families. I am quite the fan of 60 degree winters but have recently moved back to Provo to attend BYU where I mostly freeze yet somehow love every second of it. When I finally get away from the textbooks I love being outside! I love long boarding, hiking, swimming, running; you name it! You won't ever catch me without a camera in hand, simply because this is such a great life with so many happy moments to capture! Oh, and singing? I like to do that too.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy that I find every single day in living its teachings. This gospel is one of love, peace, and happiness! We have a Savior who knows and loves each of us and who suffered for each of our sins, and through each of our trials. He did this so that we don't have to face them alone. His love has no bounds and it is through His Atonement and by living His gospel that we can have ultimate happiness. That ultimate happiness for me, comes in knowing that I get to be with my family forever!

How I live my faith

There are endless opportunities to serve the people around us! Everywhere we go there are people who need our help. I am lucky to know that the Savior is my friend and that I can lean on Him no matter what. I find so much joy in living my faith that I can't help but share it with others. Which is why I will soon put my college studies on hold to serve as a missionary! I have been able to serve in various church callings growing up, but greater to me than what we are called to in the church is the person that we are inside. If a person loves and lives their faith, there is nothing they can't do.
