Hi I'm Elaine Pfeil

I'm the oldest of eight children, a frozen yogurt lover, and have lived in over twenty homes. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be surrounded by my family and friends. I enjoy traveling and warm weather. I prefer road trips to plane rides 99% of the time. I'll happily eat cereal for any meal. I love playing board games with my family on Sunday nights. I'm a sucker for a good romcom. I'm a big believer in karma and sometimes I like to cry. I love spontaneous adventures and impromptu camping trips with my friends. I can nap almost anywhere and like having a busy schedule.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I know it's true. I can feel the power of the gospel working in my life every day. I know that our families are meant to be together for all time and eternity and that through this gospel we can be. I know Christ lives and loves us. I also know that He died for each and every one of us, so that we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father again. I am so grateful for this gift that He has given us. The atonement is real. The spirit I feel is real. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and that if you truly and sincerely read, ponder, and pray abut it, you can and will come to know this as well. I hope you all do, because it will bless your lives in ways you can't even imagine. God loves us and He wants to bless us. If we pattern our lives after Christ, and walk humbly in His footsteps, He will. The blessings we will receive will be both infinite and immeasurable. I testify of this because I have seen and felt His blessings in my own life. I can't wait to share my love for this gospel with the people in my mission and I know that God has called me there for a specific reason and that there are people waiting in my mission that have been preparing their whole lives to meet me specifically. God's timing is perfect. I am so grateful for my knowledge of all of these things and pray that all of you will come to know them as well. Best of luck in all of your endeavors. Much love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to become the best version of myself; the person Christ wants me to be. I love this church and hope my words and actions reflect that. I have had various callings throughout my youth and will now be serving a full time mission for the church. I feel so blessed that our Heavenly Father has entrusted me with the people that I am meant to teach and I couldn't be more excited! I pray that the gospel will bring them as much joy and comfort as it brings me.
