Hi I'm Kristyanne

I am a girl who grew up in highland Utah. I am a teacher in training. I am a Mormon.

About Me

During High School, I was involved with both choir and color guard (I spin flags and rifles, often in while the marching band plays but not always). Junior year I actually had the opportunity to be the Captain of the JV color guard team at our school. I absolutely loved both activities and I really miss them both. Now I am a sophomore in college and I am studying social science teaching, I will be able to teach History, political science, sociology, psychology, anthropology and I think something else is in there. I absolutely love history, especially world history and I am so excited to teach it one day to the growing generation. I am also fairly coherent in nerdness, from music to Star Trek ( a large percentage of my friends are marching band nerds, who are the epitome of nerds and are proud of it, and i defiantly consider myself part of this group)

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I am a Mormon because I was born into the Church, both my parents are Mormon and the gospel has been in both sides of my family for generations. But I also choose to remain Mormon because I know this Church is true and that it truly makes me happy, several of my siblings have chosen to not remain in the church and have followed there own paths instead of the paths that our Heavenly Father has shown us , they are unhappy, they will tell you otherwise but you can see it in their eyes and the way they act. You know that there is something missing in their lives that was there before. I know the Gospel is true and I know that God is our Heavenly Father and that he loves us as a father. I know that we have been sent to this earth to grow and learn and to become something so much more than what we are. And I know that I am not perfect, nobody else is either, and that we all will make mistakes, some that are worse than others. But I know that Heavenly Father planed for that and that he sent Jesus Christ our Savior to suffer for our sins and that through him, we can be perfect.

How I live my faith

I am about to go on a mission to Fiji and I am so excited. For those of you who don't know what a mission is it is a year and a half sabbatical of sorts to go preach the gospel ( a mission is 2 years for guys). We don't get to pick where we go for this time, we are called by God, through his prophet to go to a certain place somewhere around the world. I guess I can consider myself lucky to be called to Fiji. Though it doesn't matter where I get called as long as I can serve the lord and share the glorious truths which I know to be true.
