Hi I'm Kylee

I've lived all over the United States. I water ski, I love my family, I'm a future missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18, a college student, and a dog person. I love boating with my family, especially water skiing, and I also love to sing. Most of all I love getting to know people from all walks of life! I have found that I connect well with children and the elderly. Though my life is filled with challenges and difficulties, I love the life that I live, and I look forward to what the future holds for me.

Why I am a Mormon

My decision to be a member of this church and to be a disciple of Jesus Christ is a daily one. I have become converted to the true gospel of Jesus Christ a little at a time for the last ten years, since I was baptized into the church. I am a member of His church because I love God, I love feeling the Holy Ghost, and I love the eternal truths I learn through receiving a greater knowledge of the teachings of the LDS church. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that through a study of the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and modern revelation given by the living prophets in our day, we can become closer to our Father in Heaven and our Savior and brother, Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins, mistakes, and weaknesses, and that through repentance and use of that atonement, I can overcome these things and become clean. I know that, because no unclean thing can live in the presence of God, the atonement is necessary for me to live with my Father in Heaven again one day. I know that because of this Gospel and the authority of the Priesthood, I can be sealed to my family so that, even after death, we can be together for eternity. I love this Gospel, and I know that it this is the true church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I was born to a family in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but even though I grew up going to church every Sunday, I believe that everyone has their own conversion story. As I moved around ever 2-4 years during my childhood, I didn't always have the same school or group of friends to hold onto. As a result, I found myself clinging to two things: my family and my faith. First, family is the central unit of my life. I have been blessed with two parents who love me and care for me, and five of the best, coolest siblings in the world. Though I know many people don't have ideal family circumstances, and no family is perfect, I believe that family is the center of God's plan for each of us. Without the incredible support my family has been for me through the years, I don't know where or who I would be. Along with the wonderful family God blessed me with, I have had the incredible opportunity to grow up surrounded by the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the years I have gained and built upon my own testimony of the Gospel, and have come to find that I have a resound surety that it is true. Though I am far from perfect and I make mistakes every day, I am striving to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I strive to get to know my Savior and my Father in Heaven both through studying the words of the prophets and through serving and loving others. I know that I am a child of the most high God, and if you are reading this, know that you are too. Your Father in Heaven loves you. He cares about even the most trivial things that matter to you, because you matter to Him.
