Hi I'm Eric

I enjoy getting outside, good food, and a whole lot of laughter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy the simple things, my hobbies mainly include climbing, canyoneering, and backpacking whenever I've got a chance. I studied culinary arts, mainly because of my love for food, and because I wanted to know how to make it taste good. I do what I can to not only make myself happy, but to help others be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I contribute a lot of who I am, the skills I've learned, and the joy I feel, to this Church. My parents have taught that I need to think for myself, and that if I do something, I need to have more reasons than just, "Everyone is doing it." Or "Its what everyone expects of you". So they have let me choose whether I wanted to stay with the religion or not. I choose to live this Gospel, and I feel fulfilled, and happy because of it. It's taught me to love, serve others, and I've met wonderful, loving people through this church.

How I live my faith

I've enjoyed volunteering around the Las Vegas valley with an app called "Just Serve" which collects info about volunteer and service oppurtunities around where I live. On days where I have some free time and don't feel like sitting around, it gives me plenty of productive options. I have also been called as a Missionary for the Japan Tokyo South Mission and will start my 2 year journey very soon.
