Hi I'm Josh Rencher

I am a drum major, saxophonist, science nerd, a Mormon, and missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I have loved music all of my life. As a very young child my parents got me a music stand because I loved to conduct to music so much. In seventh grade I started playing the saxophone and now I have been playing the saxophone for over seven years! The saxophone is the best instrument ever! I marched with my high school marching band for two years and had the fantastic opportunity to be the drum major for the last two. I am a huge fan of DCI (Go Bluecoats!), Cream Puffs, Candy Corn, and the Harry Potter books!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the perspective that the restored gospel gives to our lives. It answers all of the great questions of the soul, and clearly outlines the way we will be most happy in this life and the one to come. I have gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon and the restored gospel through careful study and prayer.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lansing Michigan. Missionaries serve for a period of two years, sacrificing their time and money to serve. I have been preparing both financially and spiritually for many years now so I would be prepared to share the restored gospel on my mission.
