Hi I'm McKenzie Hall

I'm a daughter, sister, teenager, and an adventurer, but most importantly I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a graduate from Davis High School preparing to go on a mission to Knoxville Tennessee, Spanish speaking. I love being a member of my family, ward, and friend groups. I love to discover the world that God created for us to enjoy and learn in. Traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, swimming, golfing, skiing, and hiking, are some of the ways I better appreciate and develop a testimony that life has a purpose and we each have a special place in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born to a family who were already Mormon I consider myself a convert. I know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and that the gospel that stems from it and above it is perfect. I recognize that I am in no way perfect and because of this I am in constant need of the redemptive power and mercy that the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ provides. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith who as a teenage boy had a question and prayed to Heavenly Father in hopes to receive an answer (James 1:5). I have full faith and confidence that the same spirit that testified to Joseph Smith can testify to me when I have questions and am in need of comfort and peace. I also know that Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ care about me and are aware of my needs and desires of my heart. I know that my life has a purpose and that when I put it in the hands of our Heavenly Father He can do more with it than I could possibly do on my own. Because I know this for myself I am so excited and have a strong desire to share my knowledge and faith with those "who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it" (D&C 123:12). I know that God is aware of His people "in whatsoever land they may be in" (Alma 26:37) and that he is certainly mindful of me. I am eternally grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my ward, attending the temple, and preparing for my mission. Every Sunday I teach a group of four year old children basic principles of the gospel and life lessons. It's been an eye opener and patience builder to teach and be taught by the next generation of youth. I attend the temple frequently with friends and family and find so much peace and comfort in a place truly removed from the business of day to day life. I am beyond excited to prepare and serve a mission in Tennessee! Reading the scriptures, praying daily, and striving to turn my life and my heart to the Lord is something I continually work at and know I will never regret.
