Hi I'm Maxwell Thompson

I'm from Utah. I love sports and more importantly I love to have fun. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to have fun. Anything outdoors or indoors.. Honestly it doesn't matter where I am as long as it's fun! I am currently a missionary serving in the Toronto, Canada mission. I'm speaking French in this mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the happiness and joy that it brings to my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ is one that blesses families, and family is the most important thing in my life and so that's a huge reason why I'm a part of this church. Growing up I took the church for granted. Living in Utah, there's churches everywhere and just about everyone was a member so I didn't think much of it and my testimony wasn't necessarily a testimony. I just went through the motions of everything. But when the time came for me to get ready for my mission is when I actually got serious about it. I read the Book of Mormon, I prayed often and I sincerely wanted to know if what I was doing was right. I got my answer by the way I lived my life. Looking back on it I could clearly see when my life was awesome and going great, it was because I was doing the things that I was supposed to be doing. When life was hard and I didn't enjoy it as much, it was because I wasn't doing those good things like reading scriptures and praying. I can see now how important, for my life, the little things are.

How I live my faith

Growing up as apart of the church I served in a bunch of different callings in the Aaronic Priesthood and so I was pretty involved with the youth in my wards. I wasn't as proactive in getting to know people as I should have been but those whom I did know, were my good friends! I try my best everyday to get involved here on a mission with the members so I can help them know what type of missionary I want to be so that they can help me!
