Hi I'm Richard Adams

I'm a missionary, I play Water Polo, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I started out growing up in the church. I was a normal California kid who hated the mainstream and loved going my own route. As a teen, I nearly flunked out of High School because I was too busy thinking about sports. I lost track of the future, and I was lost. I knew that if the Church was true, it would be my saving grace, putting me back on track, so I thought, "everyone needs to find out if it is true or not one day or another" and I started my search. I probably should have done it sooner, but I ended up finding out a little later, over a length of time. What was my answer? Well, I am currently serving the people of The Chesapeake Virginia Mission for a total of two years as a Missionary, helping people find out for themselves if this is the true gospel or not. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints can bless ANYONE'S life, no matter who you are or where you're at.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I decided to find out if it was true by studying it out and then asking God if it was true. I received an answer, and although I still have doubts, and it is still a slow process; the peace and understanding that I get from studying the Gospel is impenetrable. I see the Lord's hand in my life every day, and by so doing, I see the love He has for me and for everyone around us. To make a long story short, I feel the Lord's love as I live the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to show the kind of love Christ would show to everyone I meet. I do my best to serve in any way I can, and for the time being, that is serving a full-time mission for the Lord in Virginia. I love doing this work and meeting so many people as we try to bring people back to Christ and His restored Gospel.
