Hi I'm Caleb Michael Willes

I was raised in Northern San Diego and have lived there my whole life. I enjoy sports and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play lacrosse and surf. I really enjoy being active, but I also really enjoy reading whenever I'm not doing something outside. I'm in the MTC right now, serving a mission in Hungary Budapest. I've have three older siblings, two brothers and a sister. My oldest brother is still working in California, and my second brother just returned from his mission in Cape Verde, Praia and is now attending BYU Provo and hoping to play lacrosse there, as I hope to after my mission as well.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Honestly, I don't know who I would be without it. I was born and raised in the Church and have always been in a strong, active family. All I know is that without it, I would be a completely different person. Instead of trying hard and being a good student, I probably would have ended up going through High School with the rough crowd. Thankfully, I had great parents and a strong belief in this Gospel. And knowing that is what allows me to remain true to who I am during life's challenges.

How I live my faith

I serving a mission right now. I know this Gospel is true and that this is where I'm supposed to be. I can't wait to get to Hungary and begin teaching the people in the Hungarian language! I've never been out of the United States and I was really hoping to get my call to a foreign country. I got my wish and now I realize how hard it's going to be, but I know that the Lord is going to help me accomplish this mission.
