Hi I'm Miranda Manning

I love learning about Earth science and geologic history. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying geology. I enjoy hiking and biking because I find joy in the beauty and the science of the Earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe that in working hard to better yourself. There is always something to work on within ourselves, because we have good in us, but we also have weakness. I am a Mormon because Christ has proved to be a Savior to me as I fall short in weakness. As I try to live the gospel, I feel closer to Him.

How I live my faith

I'm not a long-winded person. I like to have as much information smashed into a few words as possible. Sometimes this makes is hard for me to share my faith about the gospel and things close to my heart. I live my faith by sharing short messages of my testimony in church in front of the congregation. I'm so grateful we have the opportunity to do so every month.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Miranda Manning
When I think of what brings me the most joy in life I think of good food, good music, and spending time outdoors. But most of all, the love of family is what grants me the most lasting happiness. Mormons believe that families can stick together through anything in this live and into the next. That is why marriage is so sacred and important to us, because a marriage that takes place one of our temples is a marriage that will last forever. Show more Show less
