Hi I'm Rachel Wilson

I grew up in Calimesa, California. I love to draw and play the guitar. I also like to play soccer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a family of eight and I'm the eldest daughter. I have two older brothers and three younger sisters. I engoy drawing, especially drawing animals. I play the guitar. I played soccer for about eleven years and I enjoy most sports. I also love horseback riding, especially when I am with my family. Any activity with family is a good one.

Why I am a Mormon

Well for starters, I'm a Mormon because I was born into a morman family. But that's not how I became a Mormon. I became a Mormon as I began to follow the gospel teachings. As a kid I had always believed that the gospel was true, but as I got older and began to really try and live it, that is when I gained my testimony. With every teaching that I lived I noticed the difference. I felt the Holy Ghost more in my life and I felt happier. Of course I wasn't perfect. I still made mistakes. Sometimes the same ones over and over again. But those experiences are what lead me to really understand and learn about the Atonement of Christ. I learned that through Jesus Christ's Atonement you don't have to be perfect at living the gospel to receive its blessings, you just have to try. I testify that this is God's church on the earth restored in these latter days by His servant Joseph Smith, who is a prophet of God. I testify that the Book of Mormon is true. I don't see how it can't be. I know that Jesus Christ lives and the power of Hos Atonement is real. I know that we have a prophet of God here on the earth today, and that it is Thomas S. Monson. I testify of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing daily prayer and scripture study. I also try to help my mom around the house when I can, though I don't always help out like I should. I am currently the ward Nursurey leader and I love it. You just see the great love that these young kids have for the gospel, even though they're only eighteen months to three years old. You can see the light of Christ in them. How I try to do the same. I strive to do my best to live the gospel everyday.
